These terms apply when you use macroscalc.net, including the calculator and the guides. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
The site is an information tool, not a health service. The terms are short on purpose.
Use of the Site
The calculator and guides give general estimates of energy and macronutrient targets for healthy adults aged 18 to 80. You may use them for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not use the site if you are under 18, pregnant or breastfeeding, or managing a medical condition or an eating disorder without a clinician's guidance.
No Professional Advice
Nothing on the site is medical, nutritional or other professional advice, and using it does not create a doctor-patient or dietitian-client relationship. Read the medical disclaimer before acting on any number.
Accuracy and Estimates
Results come from published equations and fixed constants listed on the methodology page. They are estimates and can differ from your real energy use. We work to keep content correct and fix errors we find, but we do not guarantee that it is complete, current or suitable for you.
Content and Intellectual Property
The text, design, calculator code and examples are owned by MacroCalculator unless stated otherwise. You may quote short passages with a visible link to the source page. You may not copy whole pages, republish the guides, scrape the site at scale or present the calculator as your own.
Acceptable Use
Do not attempt to disrupt or overload the site, bypass its security, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or use automated tools to submit requests in bulk. We may block access that harms the site or other visitors.
Third-Party Ads and Links
The site may show advertising served by Google and may link to outside websites. We do not control or endorse third-party ads or sites and are not responsible for their content or practices. See the advertising disclosure and the privacy policy.

The site is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of Liability
