Privacy Policy
MacroCalculator does not collect personal data of its own. The calculator runs in your browser, there are no accounts, forms or comments, and we keep no database of visitors. Third-party services we may use, such as analytics and advertising providers, can collect data about your visit under their own policies, and this page names them and shows how to opt out.
It describes current practice. It does not claim compliance with any specific law, and we update it when our practices change.
What We Collect Ourselves
Nothing about you beyond what you choose to email us. The site has no user accounts, no sign-up forms, no comment system, no newsletter and no saved profiles. We do not build visitor profiles, and we do not sell or rent personal data.
Calculator Inputs
Age, weight, height, activity level and the other values you enter are processed in your browser. Our calculator code does not send them to our servers, does not store them and does not write them to browser storage or share links. If you close or reload the page, the numbers are gone.
Third-party scripts described below are separate from the calculator. We do not pass them your inputs.
Third-Party Services That May Collect Data
To measure traffic and, where enabled, fund the site through advertising, we may use services operated by Google. We do not control how they collect data; they act under their own privacy policies. They may set or read cookies and collect technical data such as your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring page, approximate location and how you interact with ads.

We receive aggregated reports from these services. We do not receive your name or email address from them and we do not try to identify individual visitors. If a service on this list is not active on the site yet, the entry describes what it would collect once it is.
Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to this and other websites. You can manage personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, and see how Google uses data from partner sites at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can also opt out of many third-party ad vendors at aboutads.info/choices. To stop Google Analytics collecting data about your visits, install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Hosting and Security Logs
Our web host and security software keep ordinary server logs, such as the pages requested, the time and the network address of the request. They exist for security and reliability. We do not use them to profile visitors.
Cookies and Your Choices
Essential cookies support caching and security. Analytics and advertising cookies come from the third parties above and are not needed for the calculator. The cookie policy lists each category and how to block or delete them. Where a consent message is shown, for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, your choice is stored by that tool and you can change it there at any time.
Email and Contact Data
If you email contact@macroscalc.net, we use your address and message only to reply and to fix the issue you raised. We do not add you to a mailing list without a separate sign-up. You can ask us to delete your correspondence and we will do so where we can.
Children
The site is not directed at people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data. Ads are not intended for children.
Your Rights and How to Reach Us
Depending on where you live, you may be able to ask what data we hold about you, correct it or have it deleted, and to opt out of targeted advertising. The only personal data we are likely to hold is an email address and message you sent us; email contact@macroscalc.net with the request. For data held by Google, use the Google tools linked above.
